Stakeholders Meeting

by Karl on Sat Sep 27, 2008 11:20 pm

The South East Coast Specialised Commissioning Group (SCG) hosted by West Kent PCT is leading a consultation on behalf of the 62 Primary Care Trusts within the East of England, London, South Central and the South East Coast SCG's. The focus of the consultation is on how best to meet the needs of adults (aged 18+ years) who require tier 4 personality disorder services in a way which is both clinically and financially sustainable. Tier 4 refers to services over and above those provided locally and mainly refers to residential units. The consultation, although triggered by the closure of the Henderson, isn't focussed on this as the context has changed somewhat in recent years with more local services being developed for people with personality disorders in some areas.
